MISSION AND HISTORY
It has been over 45 years since the first piece of legislation relating to those affected by a chronic condition. Since then, a lot has been done to highlight the inequality that exists, but little to actually deal with it.

Inequality in the workplace and in society remains a continually highlighted issue that needs to be addressed and tackled.

EQ4All has a mission to:
-
Help local authorities and councils create better access to services and jobs for everyone.
-
To help people maintain employment when life gets difficult.
-
Help engage people from disadvantaged communities into work.
-
Attempt to tackle the unconscious bias that marginalises a whole section of our society.

We aim to achieve this by forging strong collaborative relationships with existing charities and social enterprise organisations. In doing this we help develop everyone, not just ourselves.

Eq4All was a concept created after travelling around the country as a Senior Consultant for DRUK, where I consulted and trained people about the Equality Act, specifically in situations relating to 'Disability'. I listened to so many stories about how people had become marginalised by society.

With the current funding that I have been awarded from UNLtd. & Scope as well as inputting my own personal finances, Eq4All will pave the way and give that missing hope to those who have been brushed aside and left to fend for themselves. The team at Eq4All is composed of individuals who have been affected by disability, marginalisation and will have gained the necessary experience to deal with any challenges thrown at them.
